Organisational structures concepts
As organisations grow, roles and responsibilities expand and are shared,
the organisation structure is developed by management.
These are charts that show the structure and hierarchy in an organisation,
from top to bottom with different levels, including the Board of Directors
to customer service assistants.
The concept of the organisational structure is identifying a span of
control, chain of command, level of hierarchy, how easy is it to delayer?
Who is the boss? Who do you delegate to? How many layers are there
from top to bottom? What type of leadership supports the organisation
structure? Is it centralised or decentralised?
